This is the best place for fish 'n chips and mushy peas and it is a Plymouth favorite! The decor (lots of fish on the walls) at Platters is not fancy, but the food is tasty and makes a nice sit down meal. There is a fast food take out version of the restaurant next door if you choose to eat out by the pier. The menu includes daily specials, burgers and some Greek entrees.

Plymouth's shiny gem! This tiny but perfect family run restaurant has been our family's favourite for fourteen years and it has always been wonderful. It serves fresh fish simply, without pretention and they sell the best calamari I have ever ever eaten! The service is fantastic and the food is just wonderful. Rocky, the owner proprietor died in recent years but his legacy lives on in his family who continue to run this wonderful restaurant. Every one is always welcome and you will not be disappointed.

There is no better place to eat best freshly landed local fish cooked to simple perfection in a uniquely informal atmosphere regularly bustling with local people ranging from local judges and doctors to fishermen and younsters, on compact tables and bench seats with the local commercial radio pop staion's music. Fine Dining in a lorry drivers' caff. Try it once and you will go back and back. Unpretentious and fun. Perfect.
