5. King's Ice Cream

At Kings Ice Cream in the town square you may have to wait in a line out the door, but it's a taste you won't find anywhere else and boy is it refreshing on a hot Ponce day. I think it's closer to Italian Ice on the Maryland shore at summertime than ice cream, but it is good and the flavours are all from local fruits like coconut and mango and tamarindo. Go somewhere nice like Esquina de Argentina and save desert for Kings Ice Cream as you walk off the meal.
