The richly decorated interior features Circassian walnut paneling, marble fireplaces, and Austrian crystal chandeliers. Today, the glamour lives on, much to the delight of guests. Modern amenities include two restaurants, a lounge, gym, and a full business center. Guest rooms feature refrigerator, minibar, hair dryer, cable TV, and phone with modem, dataport, and voice mail. This elegant bed-and-breakfast, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, combines Victorian charm with convenience and solitude. The home's beautiful decor, in turn-of-the-century English style, is a lovely complement to the incredible architecture. Outside, gardens feature a gazebo, fountains and bird baths. A full breakfast is served each morning. Two miles from downtown and five miles from the airport. Six rooms available, all with private bath, televison, telephone and data ports.

This inn dates from the 1880s and is loaded with personality and architectural charm. American and European antiques add character to well-appointed rooms, many of which feature fireplaces and sitting areas. Eclectic wall murals by local artist Myrna Anderson enliven many of the rooms throughout the house. Incredible breakfasts, inviting common areas and the beauty of the neighborhood simply add to the appeal of an already-alluring inn. Adjacent to Washington Park, the B&B is located mere blocks from city gardens and a wealth of boutiques on Northwest 23rd. Seven rooms are available; some have shared baths.

As the name suggests, this inn bears a striking resemblance to the presidential mansion. Fountains and manicured grounds welcome guests to the home, which once belonged to a wealthy lumber baron. The house is a delight, complete with elegant furnishings, refined details and a full gourmet breakfast served in the grand dining room. The signature breakfast dish is salmon eggs Benedict with an orange hollandaise. Portland's White House is located in a pleasant residential neighborhood and offers easy access to boutique shopping. Six guest suites, furnished with period antiques, are available in the main house, and three suites can be found in the carriage house. All come with private bath, some with large claw-foot tubs.
