6. McMenamin's Crystal Ballroom

For over 90 years, one of the oldest and best nightlife spots in Portland has been found at McMenamin’s. The Crystal Ballroom complex has hosted such big acts as George Clinton, the Grateful Dead and James Brown. Nowadays, the Ballroom offers a small Portland venue and a pub with great dancing on the big floor.
