7. McMenamin's Kennedy School

McMenamin’s Kennedy School is a wonderful example of nightlife in Portland, OR. Constructed in 1915 as a school, it has been renovated to stand as a popular entertainment facility. Visit the Courtyard Restaurant (the old school cafeteria) for dinner and handcrafted local beers produced less than 10 feet away. Head to the Honors Bar or the Detention Bar for plenty of character and an exciting array of drink choices.
