Wildwood is rich in Portland cuisine, which may be due to the fact that Portland is the chef’s hometown. Cory Schreiber is known for making plain Portland local foods go a long way. His cuisine focuses mainly on seafood but also offers roasted lamb or duck with mushrooms. Aromatic, flavorful sauces and toppings don dishes from a wood-fire oven, giving Oregon regional dining a whole new depth. The use of local, sustainable farming comes through in the quality of food prepared. When I visit Portland, I make sure one night is spent with family and friends at Wildwood.
