The Northwest is no less than a mecca for coffee lovers, and what better place to delve into the wonders of caffeine than at Ristretto Roasters? Here, Din Johnson (founder, bean blender, and coffee roaster) pours fresh coffee beans into a steel roaster, working behind a thin veil of plexiglass. Fans of Johnson's medium-roasted coffees can even be spotted in front of the establishment in the wee hours (between 6am and 10am) to see how their morning buzz gets made.   (© 10Best)
