Always reinventing itself, Butters Gallery is on my top ten list for gallery visits in the Portland area. Sophisticated yet disarmingly friendly, this family owned gallery is in constant motion...a true pleasure to experience on every level. I have purchased paintings and the service is stellar. From the framing recommendations to the expert crating and shipping or delivery/installation, at every step communication is maintained. (Unusual to say the least in this world of you bought it, now you deal with all the rest of it.) Bringing their expertise to your space and installing the art work ...even when your house is in San Francisco is just one example of their ability to exceed my expectations.
