1. Ryan's Irish Bar

Fantastic looking Irish pub in the old town, a couple of streets back from the river in the Ribeira area. Has 2 floors and the upstairs is very charming and cozy with a low stone arch. A very mixed crowd of Portuguese and some tourists. Fantastic selection of beers (obviously including Guinness), and some great cocktails too. Sometimes has music.
