9. Taverna do Bêbobos

Founded in 1876, this quaint restaurant is one of the oldest in Porto. Visitors can enjoy snacks and light meals downstairs or more generous portions in the upper level dining room. Menu selections include a variety of Portuguese meals. One of the most recommended dishes is the octopus rice. Diners enjoy the picturesque location along the waterfront. Reservations recommended.
