10 Travel Tidbits About Kaylin
  • Number of major cities I’ve been to:  I’ve been to a good handful of cities, but I loved the unique qualities of Chicago, Baltimore, NYC, and Atlanta.
  • Best travel tip: Plan ahead and pack light, but don’t forget to bring snacks and a great book. For flights, always create a special playlist on your iPod – not only does this keep you in the traveling spirit, but it also drowns out children crying on the plane.
  • Must-have travel addiction: I love Pinkberry frozen yogurt with fresh strawberries. A true must-have if you are lucky enough to be near one of its few locations.
  • Best "feel good trip": Using my family’s timeshare at the beach – it’s free and I can get a tan!
  • Favorite restaurant: Irashai Sushi Pub, and Spill the Beans ice cream, both in Greenville, SC!
  • Planning your trip advice: Young travelers out of college can still get great travel deals from student travel agencies. If you stay flexible, you will find great deals.
  • Still on the list to visit: I am bound and determined to make it to Australia one day. “Ello, mate!”
  • Favorite small town: Cape Cod. I used to vacation there with my family as a child. We would go on whale watches and relax while taking in the picturesque scenery and small town charm.
  • Best low-budget vacation: A shared beach or mountain house with friends!
  • Coolest spots for photographs: I think the easiest spot to take a foolproof picture is at the Grand Canyon. It’s impossible to take a bad photograph there.
