DOWNTOWN.   Subtly lit, graced with large windows, and painted in buttery hues, this seafood restaurant is undoubtedly Princeton's best. Fresh fish from across the globe figures onto the menu, and daily specials capitalize on what's optimal at the moment. Simple preparations are a boon, bringing out the inherent flavor of each offering. Consider sauteed skate wings, broiled bluefish, homemade bouillabaisse, pan-seared sea scallops, or whole crispy black sea bass. A terrific raw bar delivers premium shellfish, and chicken and steak placate landlubbers. No alcohol is served, but patrons may bring their own.   (© 10Best)

This was my first experience at Blue Point Grill, and I cannot wait to return. Everything was first-rate, including the side dishes. I could have made a meal just on the creamed spinach alone. Also it seems these days not many chefs know how to make a true caesar salad anymore; generally what I find when I've ordered ceasar out in recent years is a creamy garlic - and true ceasar is NOT creamy. The Blue Point's chef knows this and gave me the best ceasar I've had in years, including my own which generally gets a good reception. The portions were generous, everything was cooked to perfection, and served in a timely manner. My one critique would be that without carpeting or other fabric to soften the hard edges, it was a bit noisier than I'd prefer, but that won't keep me from returning as soon as I can. Dessert and cappuchino were also perfect - and it's rare that I can say of a restaurant meal that there is nothing I would change or improve, but I can say that about my experience at Blue Point. Bravo!!
