EASTSIDE.   For over 25 years, the Cable Car has been a unique Providence experience all its own. Supplementing its regular schedule of independent and foreign films, the cinema features pre-film music from local performers, and also hosts festivals and special events. This place is a lot of fun. Grab a movie while drinking chai tea and eating ice cream. You can't beat it. They show some of the more odd movies that you may not see at the big theaters but it is still fun. A great spot to go on a date. Price is reasonable (especially for RI.)
