AMERICAN FORK.   Completed by the Latter Day Saints Church around 1915, this attractive Revival-style building is home to the American Fork Family History Center, a place where visitors can trace their family roots. The Alpine Stake has a governmental – almost secular – appearance. Indeed, its architects, having eschewed more familiar LDS designs, opted for classic Doric columns, recessed porticos, and utilitarian common areas.   (© 10Best)
