This warm Japanese eatery seems to beckon to hungry diners with its homey window-front vignettes of sand, river rock, and stone lanterns. In the front foyer, an aquarium full of colorful fish greets you and, perhaps, anticipates the relaxing experience you will enjoy at Osaka. Ask to be seated in one of the cozy navy velvet banquettes, ideal for an intimate dinner for two. Quite good
I've been to Japan several times, and while the food at Osaka Restaurant isn't the best I've had, it's rather good. I have eaten there at least a dozen times.

I have been to this restaurant perviously and liked it. However the most recent visit was not as plesant as I remebered. I went on a Monday night and service was slow. Only 1 waitress. The sushi was ok. The seaweed and rice was a little too chewy. The other person I was with got a "bad tasting" piece and had to spit it out. I ordered the Vegetable Udon and it tasted like old bathwater (or what I would assume old bathwater tastes like). I couldn't even force myself to eat it. I hate to leave such a bad review for a reatuarant that was good in the past, but I really was blown away by how bad the food was.
