VIEUX QUEBEC. This beautiful Anglican cathedral, completed in 1804, was funded in part by King George III. Among the cathedral's more noteworthy features are a 6th-century Celtic cross, oak pews whose wood was taken from the Royal Forests of Windsor and an enormous 8-bell carillon. Time your visit right, and you'll get to see one of their special exhibits, perhaps even the cathedral treasure, which includes silverware donated by George III. (Bells were removed in June 2006 for restoration in England.)
