15. Carnaval de Québec M. Christie

The Buzz -- Held in February and touted as the "world's biggest winter carnival," this multi-week event is a jolly scene of wine tasting, fiddle playing and merrymaking. Events include parades, athletic competitions, dog-sled races, snow-sculpture contests and masked balls.
