8. Le Continental

I have been coming to your restaurant since you opened, almost 50 years ago & consider it the finest in the world. I have vacationed in over 40 countries & still come back to the Continental in Quebec as often as I can.

My wife & I had dinner at Le Continental during August 2003, and were very well pleased. Unfortunately, we were dressed as tourists - shorts & knit shirts - and this restaurant deserves better. The ambiance is formal but cozy, with waiters in tuxedos, rich wood paneling and soft, wall sconce lighting. Our dinners were superb, especially my mignon flambé: One of the best filets I've had! Highly recommended.

What a fantastic evening. The setting was magnificent and the sense of smell and magnificence of your food flambéed at your table was simply mouthwatering. Please, if you visit here you MUST have Crepe Suzette for desert. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

My wife and I had dinner at the Le Continental on 9/1/03 the atmosphere was perfect the staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. What a perfect evening.

Thank you for helping my father and I remember what it was like to dine at 5 star service. We were told by the doorman at the Frontenac Chateau and it was some of the best advise we were given. Our luggage was lost and the host graciously mad us feel welcome in the shorts and sandals we were wearing for dinner. The two young busboys who never missed a beat. Moved quickly with cheerful readiness throughout the restaurant. Watching the staff move and serve us was like watching the blue angel pilots in one of their perfectly choreographed dances in the sky.

Est Est Est!!! (Look up the history of the wine by this name and you'll understand>0 Le Continental is one of my most favorite restaurants in the world. At least one of the Sgabo brothers is on hand to make sure the restaurant runs smoothly. The restaurant is a favorite with locals as well as tourists. The service is impeccable as is the food. The flambees are excellent; the desserts fantastic. I have been dining at Le Continental for over 30 years and have never been disappointed.
