My husband and I were visiting Raleigh during my husband's birthday and after doing some research found Simpson's Restaurant - we're very happy we did!! Driving up to it - you might be hesitant due to it being in a strip mall - it doesn't look like much at all. What a delight to walk through the doors - you'll be so amazed - the decor is tranquil - looks upscale compared to the outside. Piano player - wonderful service - you will think you are the only ones there - everyone is so attentive to your every wish! The food is scrumptious, every bite a true delight!! The cost is very reasonable and the value is right. We took about three hours for our dinner - from a drink and conversation at the bar - dinner at the table and an after dinner drink before leaving. A relaxing, wonderful and scrumptious evening at Simpson's!!

I was travelling on business and try to check out a few of the '10Best' suggestions. They led me a bit astray for breakfast, but my meal at Simpson's was very good. Healthy NY steak, cooked well and tasty. Classic steak house. French Onion soup and Key Lime Pie were also excellent. Only complaint might be vegatables, but I don't go to a steak house for the veggies.
