5. Cafe Carolina & Bakery at the Arboretum

The breakfast was awful. We had the country breakfast plate. The scrambled eggs tasted like the bad powdered eggs and the sausage was of very poor quality. The hashbrown casserole was mushy and had no taste. The highlight was the toast. It is possible that the baked goods are ok here, but I would not order any other food. We are very surprised that this restaurant ended up on a top 10 breakfast list for the entire city of Raleigh.
