8. Person Street Pharmacy Soda Fountain

I always feel very welcome when I go into the pharmacy. Pam is so friendly and the food is excellent. There are not many places around like the pharmacy, unfortunately.

I find it very delightful to go to a real drugstore fountain. The food was excellent and they had the selection I remember as a child growing up going to the local drugstore. The employees are very friendly and take care of your every need. They can accommodate 25-30 people at the fountain and there are always several people sitting around enjoying a real milkshake, a chicken salad sandwich or many other choices on the menu--and I must add the ice cream is great. Everyone should try this drugstore fountain to understand how much fun drugstore use to be!!

The best malted milkshake in the area. The best root beer float and the best homemade cakes in Raleigh.
