7. Old MacDonald's Farm

RAPID CITY.   "E-I-E-I-O!" Essentially a large petting zoo, this farm is a wonderful way to teach children respect for animals and to expose them to young creatures. The incredibly well-kept facility offers train and pony rides, pig races, and an area where children can bottle-feed small animals. Little ones can also interact with geese, ducks, goats, sheep, rabbits, and donkeys. A playground helps disperse extra energy, and picnic areas and a gift shop are available.
