6. Fireside Inn

RAPID CITY.   Softly lit and centered around an open, contemporary fireplace, this well-received restaurant boasts romantic appeal and a terrific menu. By all accounts, the prime rib is unfailingly good, and it comes in three different sizes, depending on your appetite. Salmon Wellington, pork au poivre, and barbecue ribs also draw raves, and an abundant supply of steaks, seafood, pastas, and chicken dishes offer choices galore.
