4. Fort Hays Chuckwagon Supper & Western Music Show

RAPID CITY.   Not only do you get a feel for the days of the Old West at this supper, but you can also explore portions of the set from "Dances with Wolves," which was located here after filming was completed. In the three-level barn, folks fill their tin plates with roast beef, baked beans, potatoes, biscuits, and spice cake while hearing about the era of cowboy life. After dinner, a variety show offers family-friendly entertainment that'll have you laughing and tapping your toes in response to the fun. The dinner was very good--even if you don't like one thing, there is a very large variety on your plate. The Western Music Show was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!!!! The musicians were awesome...especially Jack Jensen. Oh my gosh....that man can sing!!
