1. British Bankers Club

I heard that "The BBC" was the place to be on Wednesday nights. It's a small club/bar but it probably seemed like that because of the place being so packed! Literally, the place was crowded! The line was around the building and the doorman was a total snob but he was cute. It's a beautiful place and the bar was fully stocked. The dance floor is tiny but there's an outside patio where everyone lounges and smokes. The crowd was mostly Standford students but the guys were hot, even the chicks. Their security was monstrous but they were hot too. BBC could be a regular party spot for me on Wednesday nights if I didn't live so far. BBC rocks!

It's a mellow place to hang out for those who are tired of club scenes but like to drink and hear music. On certain nights it gets crowded but it's still a cool place to hang out.

The club would be a better value if the musicians were paid to play there. It's odd that a nice looking place like this does not see fit to compensate performers.

I love this place!!---I consider it more of a late afternoon meeting place with a great happy hour and wonderful beer selection, which to me is their strongest bar feature. The decor is certainly British and it has that formal feel, with underlying currents of casualness. Very classy, enjoyable spot--you never know who you'll see walk in.
