3. Folk Art International Xanadu Tribal Art Gallery

MENLO PARK.   This interesting shop and gallery has a wide array of tribal art and one-of-a-kind artifacts from out-of-the-way places, but the real stars are antiques from Third World countries. Neolithic pots, elm horseshoe chairs, apothecary chests, and first-century stone bodhisattvas combine with displays of rare Baltic amber to form an exotic collection of moderately priced and museum-quality pieces.   (© 10Best)
