VIRGINIA CITY.   Samuel Clemens, better known as Mark Twain, was a famous American writer who got his start in the Old West. This Reno museum is a testament to his life and his writings. Clemens spent a short time trying to mine gold here, but then went to work for the Territorial Enterprises newspaper. The newspaper’s former headquarters is the site of this one of a kind Virginia City museum. Enjoy the rich history and amazing artifacts housed inside.   (© 10Best)
