3. Lake Mansion

There are many historical sites in Reno, but Lake Mansion stands in a category all by itself. This colonial style mansion was built by Myron Lake in 1877. Lake was the founder of Reno and played a large part in the city’s early history. Walk the hallways and examine the beautiful furnishings adorning his gorgeous 19th century home.
