1. Bowers Mansion County Park

In 1864, millionaire Comstock Lode built a Gothic-style mansion overlooking Washoe Lake. This home a must if you're willing to extend your Reno sightseeing to include Carson City. Bowers Mansion still contains the original furnishings and provides patrons with a look back at one ofd the Nevada's more unique characters.
