JACKSON WARD.   Located in the heart of Richmond's historically black district, this museum highlights traditional African artifacts, the accomplishments of African-American artists and the history of black people, emphasizing those of the state of Virginia. Exhibits include the tap shoes of Bill "Bojangles" Robinson and memorabilia from the history of the Jackson Ward district. In addition to its permanent exhibits, the museum also offers special exhibitions, events and programs.   (© 10Best)
