   EDITOR REVIEW:

NORTH RICHMOND.   The 24-acre Lewis Ginter Garden features an array of beautiful flowers and plants with natural paths and vistas. The garden uses varying landscape designs, seasonal displays and gardening techniques. Includes formal Victorian gardens and Bloemendaal, an 1888 Victorian manor. Families will enjoy the children's gardens and wetlands.

The Botanical Garden offers delights year-round, but we think it's never more enchanting than during the annual GardenFest of Lights, which runs from Thanksgiving through mid-January. While there's a surprise waiting around every corner, the conservatory remains a favorite attraction for many. (from Southern Living)
