JAMES RIVER.
This restored 15th-century English manor offers tours and features breathtaking views of the James River. The historic home features oak paneling, authentic military armor and other historical pieces. Twenty-three acres of gardens and grounds can be viewed year-round. A very interesting look into both regional and British history.

This is a one-of-a-kind place... beautiful, yet somewhat rustic.. a living history can be seen here and it is fascinating. Don't miss it if possible. I do, however, hope your tour guide is a bit better informed than ours was. Perhaps it was her first day, but she didn't know as much as we did (from reading the brochure!)...still it's very interesting. Go! You'll love the experience!!
