DOWNTOWN.
Generous club sandwiches and the best milkshakes and ice cream south of the Mason-Dixon line make this lunch stop a favorite among locals and visitors. You've got to be good to keep attracting patrons for 50 years! In fact, some Richmonders still call it by its original name--Curles Neck Dairy Bar.

Horrible Food-Horrible Service-Horrible Owner/Mgt
After reading this, it would be a fool who would want to eat at this horrible place. The food is a complete rip-off. The reuben sandwich comes with literally a tissue thin single piece of what might be corned beef. The cheese, if that is what they used, was chalky and fake. This was a $7 sandwich and it was atrocious.
What was worse is that the rude owner thought it was ok and lambasted his customers for observing the pitiful condition of the sandwiches. The "pastrami with swiss cheese" sandwich (if that is what is was-it is truly hard to tell) was just as bad. The meat, what little there was, was terrible and again, the cheese was chalky.
But it was the attitude of the owner himself that makes this abhorrent "restaurant" a den of gastro intestinal problems and the most unpleasant place that I and my friends had visited in recent memory. The owner is a discourteous, unprofessional buffoon - and I apologize to buffoons everywhere. My advice to the forewarned is DO NOT EAT HERE.
