We have been dealing with and buying from Gates Antiques since the mid-1970's. The owners are extremely knowledgeable, more than willing to take their time educating their customers, and proud of their extensive inventory. Probably one of the best dealers in the mid-Atlantic region! If you want to learn about the pieces that interest you, this is the place to go.

Gates Antiques is the best partner my wife and I have found to help us collect antiques. We like the fact it is a family owned business - they treat you as if they are proud to have their name associated with the piece. Jay and Jo are very knowledgable and very willing to educate you. We have purchased many, many pieces from them, and we will continue to do so. Absolutely great place to go-highly recommended.

I enjoyed my visit to Gates Antiques and found the owners to be very personable, knowledgable and extremely helpful. I plan to return and reccommend them to my friends and family. They have several buildings full of great antiques!
