CARYTOWN. Hand pulled, sliced, chopped. Anyway you like your barbecue, Double T's has it. Smother your 'cue in sauces from sweet to hot to five alarm! Slow cooked on the hickory grill, the meat is melt-in-your-mouth – no knives needed at Double T's (which just might stand for Terrific and Tasty).

This lovely, countryside inn and eatery is located outside of Richmond and serves a delicious menu of locally-produced game and poultry. Try such favorites as the lobster, rockfish or rack of lamb. After dinner enjoy a cigar and glass of port. Excellent ambience and service and a delicious wine and dinner menu. Seating is by reservation only.

CHURCH HILL. A popular spot, Millie's is usually crowded with loyal customers waiting to taste goodies like the spicy omelets expertly prepared by chef Joe Merolli. Don't worry, the prices are just as pleasing as the cheery atmosphere and friendly service. Brunch starts at nine on Sunday, but go early to get at the head of the rapidly expanding line.

DOWNTOWN. Chez Foushee serves up totally homemade everything! Homemade pimento cheese, soups, pasta salads, key lime pie, white chocolate cheesecake and mmmmm, lemon butter cake. Hoagie, smoked turkey and gouda, grilled London broil and albacore tuna salad are just some of the sandwich combinations that Chez Foushee serves. Box lunches and catering are also available.

OREGON HILL. This unpretentious eatery is universally considered one of Richmond's best Italian restaurants. Legendary among Richmond natives for its long waits, chalkboard menu and no-frills service. Do not let the establishment's lack of elegance deter you; EVERYONE agrees the food is stellar! House specialties include the eggplant parmesan, calamari and tiramisu.
