ROCHESTER. Quarry Hill, located on a 300-acre park just outside of Rochester, features interactive displays and exhibits relating to ecology and native Minnesota wildlife as well as a 1700-gallon fish aquarium. Along the 5-plus miles of trails that surround the nature center, visitors will find opportunities to see the park's furrier residents and do some bird watching. During winter months, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing become popular activities at Quarry Hill (rentals for both are available).
