1. Oxbow Park & Zollman Zoo

Oxbow has a great variety of things to do. The zoo houses many raptors, otters in a new otter area, bison, a cougar, wolves and coyotes. Check when feeding time is. It also has some farm animals. The nature center has snakes and some semi-interactive exhibits. The trails are varied from riverside to steep hills to prairie. Fox and deer can be occasionally seen by very quiet hikers. No dogs are allowed off the picnic grounds.

Oxbow park and Zoo are a great place to take my boys for nature study! The walks through the woods are great and if I can keep them quiet we can see lots of native critters! The zoo offers a great variety of creatures for the boys to view and learn about, sure beats studying it in a book! Thanks
