ROCHESTER.   This oddly named restaurant, whose handle pays homage to the 30,000 or so feathered flyers that visit Rochester each winter, has been a community standard since the mid-1980s. Fun and family-friendly, the Canadian Honker features a wide range of homestyle breakfast fare, including an egg-and-ham scramble, cinnamon-dipped French toast, and the aptly named Honker Omelet, stuffed with hickory-smoked ham, cheese, and onions.   (© 10Best)
