LAKE CITY.   A charming, early 20th century cottage serves as the setting for this unique breakfast place. If it's nice out, sit at a table in the garden; otherwise, the warmly decorated dining room provides just the right amount of pampering. While afternoon tea at Chickadee is sure to impress, breakfasts usually elicit the strongest raves. Some opt for the American Breakfast, a hearty start to the day featuring two eggs any style, cottage fries, bacon or sausage, and fresh fruit. Another favorite, the Everything Omelet, comes stuffed with ham, cheese, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and tomatoes – everything but the kitchen sink. Sundays are special with a family style breakfast being served. Enjoy fine Taylors of Harrogate teas alongside the likes of nut bread, English scones, Devonshire cream, and homemade chicken salad flavored with chunks of pineapple and pecans.
