ROCHESTER.   The basement of an old warehouse has been renovated to create an uptown dining experience in the heart of Rochester, one whose specialty is gourmet pizzas. Hand-tossed delights, prepared using basil crusts, are touched off with a number of toppings, including grilled duck, shrimp, chipotle peppers, chorizo sausage, and artichoke hearts. Those looking to go a different route will want to check into the Pasta Pie (baked linguine with ricotta and cheese topped with garlic béchamel sauce) or sautéed Chicken Basilinni with sliced mushrooms and linguine. Redwood Room also has great live Jazz music. The food is excellent for a good price. Good wine list.
