MANTORVILLE. In 1856, just two years after Mantorville was incorporated, John Hubble rebuilt his original rustic hotel to accommodate a new influx of travelers. These days – although guests may no longer let rooms – the historic property still manages to attract a fair number of tourists each season, thanks to its reputation for fine food. Dining rooms are decorated much as they were in stagecoach days, making for cozy environs in which to enjoy a lunch of Maryland crab cakes, a Portobello club, or a ˝-pound Hubble Hamburger. Reservations are accepted.
