5. John Hardy's

It doesn't get any better than John Hardy's. I grew up in Kansas City which doesn't allow bad barbeque. John Hardy's can hold its own in K.C. I live in Wisconsin. For years I stopped at John Hardy's any chance I had. It was the best I could hope to find in the Wisconsin BBQ wasteland. I always ordered the beef which was okay and better than anything I could hope for at home. Then 4 years ago I tried a sampler, beef, ribs and pork. I began to kick myself for all the years I had been ordering the beef. The ribs are unmatchable and the pork is almost as good. Now, instead of stopping at any opportunity, I create opportunity to stop at John Hardy's.

This is mighty delicious barbecue. The side dishes, especially the potatoes, are wonderful!
