9. Victorian Doll Museum

What began as a childhood hobby for curator Linda Greenfield has now grown into a remarkable exhibit of over 3000 dolls dating from the mid-19th century to the present day. An informative audio tour provides a great insight into history of this popular industry. Particularly heart warming is the "doll hospital," which allows visitors to observe the restoration of aging and damaged dolls. Found the displays fun, very informative, clean, well organized, and enjoyed the audio tours. I have had many friends tell me how well their doll restorations have turned out. Very much recommended!
