6. Jines

The food belongs in a much fancier restaurant, some of the dishes clearly come from the mind of a chef rather than a cook, especially the pasta seafood dishes and fancy breakfasts. And, the price is reasonable for what you get. And, you can sit outside! OTOH, sometimes you feel like a plain $5 breakfast. You will not find it here, upscale dishes only. Do not plan on getting seated in a reasonable time during lunch or dinner rushes. The indoor comfort level is compromised by the odd fact that every seat is a draft, and every table is cramped. And sometimes the food is not prepared or served as it could be, due to the size of the crowds. The bottom line is I'll always got to Jines, if I have the money and time, even during the 'rush hours'. I'll probably get meals that are better than most of the tablecloth places, and I will not feel cheated at the cash register. And I'll impress whoever I drag over there (after supplying them with a sweater and a few crackers.)
