At the turn of the century, Martha Berry founded what is today Berry College with the goal of providing an education for the head, heart, and hands. She was an integral part of Rome's history and development, and today her historic Greek Revival-style home, Oak Hill, welcomes visitors. There, they tour the impressive residence and surrounding gardens and learn about Berry herself and the development and growth of the college. An art gallery is also part of the complex. Hours:
