Initially commissioned by Julius Caesar and completed by Augustus. Augustus in turn dedicated it to his late nephew Marcellus after his death in 23 BC. This massive venue boasts a diameter of 120 meters and a seating capacity of 20,000. Converted into a fortress during the Middle Ages, it later served as a palace during the 16th century. Bus: H.
