The city's most important and increasingly reputable music venue is the Auditorium Parco della Musica in the north, not far from the Olympic stadium. Inaugurated in 2002 and designed by Genovese superstar architect Renzo Piano, it features its own Roman ruins, three indoor halls and an outdoor amphitheater. The venue hosts classical and jazz to electronica and flamenco, as well as contemporary dance and other arts events, as well as the new Rome International Film Festival (www.romacinemafest.org). Take bus M from Termini station.   (© 10Best)
