4. La Maison

With an opulent red décor of mirrors, chandeliers and circular divans, La Maison is frequented by both celebrities and regular denizens of the night. The vibe is cool and, once you get past the doorman, not snooty at all. The music is mainstream – R&B and house – but mixed to perfection. Hungry dancers should retire to the sushi sofa, to nibble Japanese delicacies on a pile of richly textured cushions. Bus stops: Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
