Run by the daughter of the owner of the legendary Pizzeria da Baffetto that is just around the corner on Via del Governo Vecchio, Montecarlo holds its own. It offers great pizza, home-made Roman desserts and cheap but tasty wine in a fun, noisy atmosphere. A favourite of young locals and tourists alike. Bus: 40, 46, 62. fresh and VERY delicious food, good prices, great house wine, funny waiters...p.s to wait 10min for your table it is normal in montecralo, but it worths...no doubt I'll be back here...

Worst Pizza Ever.
How you can include this pizzeria in the top 10 best, is misleading. I had a pizza that was soggy and tasteless, and a great disappointment , since the waiter did not seem to care. shows you how cocky the Italians have become about there food that they serve swill. You would get better Pizza from Pizza Hut. Go anywhere else.

The pizza was decent. Had better. They burned it a little (and I do mean black pieces that were charred, not just a crisp pizza). The waiter we had was the RUDEST I've had in my entire life. He sat us near the kitchen and half our party would get hit each time someone came out carrying food. After 5x it got VERY annoying. Then when we complained the waiter made fun of us not being Italian (we are Italian-American), and threw the food/pizza at us. Let's just say he didn't get a good tip, because he didn't deserve any.
