When this popular restaurant off Via Veneto first opened in 1960, owner Césarina Masi relentlessly watched over her staff as they prepared the Emiliana-Romagna cuisine (and her regular customers as they cleaned their plates). The restaurant has changed very little since Federico Fellini used to frequent it and since Cesarina's death in the 1980s. Attentive staff members continue to present a selection of meats to each table on a rolling trolley. The meat trolley is still followed by a variety of pastas and different sauces. Closed also on Saturdays in July and August. Reservations recommended.
